Man oh man! Y'all! Okay so I DIY'd my bohemian styled wedding on Thursday, November 11, 2021. (11.11.21). Yes a Thursday. Veterans Day 2022. Because most of my friends and family are veterans and or from out of town anyway I thought -- it sounded like a good idea at the time!

So anyway, it was truly the best and worst day of my life. I wasn't a bridezilla but our wedding was wild. All of my bridesmaid's (God bless em) were hell bent on protecting me from the chaos and the negativity from everyone else so much so that every persons' every move caused more chaos. And it rained. I mean it thunder stormed on our outdoor wedding (the one and only day that week). It blew away out tents not once, not twice, but three times before the ceremony. And I (the bride) was on the clean up crew instead of the getting ready to be married in the ceremony crew. And then the tents collapsed half-way through the reception. Oh yeah and like 4 cars got stuck in the muddy parking area so most of everyone's time was spent getting the cars out the mud... 

It was my (a perfectionists') absolute worst nightmare. To have my friends and family fly and drive in from all over the world and to see that disaster... so much disaster. From decor to the weather, everyone tried their best but it just... was a day to remember.  My friends and family gave it everything. They tried to salvage the day and did so for the most part! But I am so hard on myself that I just wanted to hide under a basement carpet every time I thought about it --  for a whole year! It took me a full year to look through the pictures because I couldn't stomach the shame I felt when I thought about the disaster. The memories haunted me. I felt defeated. 

I didn't have the money to afford a wedding designer but -- truthfully, I couldn't see myself paying someone for something that I could do "better" myself. anyway. So I did it. I planned it from scratch and I've got to admit, it was a mess because of circumstances but if I could do it again I would 1 million times. I planned perfectly. I had everything I needed and every detail was meticulously calculated. If I wasn't in my own wedding, it would have been perfect. So today I vow to myself that as long as I am alive any bride that asks me for help will receive it! I DID my wedding and it was still absolutely beautiful even after and during the rain! 

I have so much good stuff left over and I don't want to just give it to you... I want to help you put your together and walk you through it. Let me set up MY wedding for you. Let me do this damn wedding right for the sake of saking. Let me give you what I created. Let me help you because I didn't "work" for one single second while planning this thing. It was easy, it felt natural, it felt right. I was in my element. Being in love is not hard and planning a day to celebrate it shouldn't be either.

I am offering you to rent-MY-wedding bride to be! I already have everything sooooo why let it go to waste?! I made my table settings, the flower crown I wore, the bouquets, I stole pampas from unsuspecting neighbors and friends for isle decor lol, I thrifted and literally DIY'd the whole thing. It was glorious and I want to set it up for you!

Oh yeah and my best friend said that we can use her space again too so if you're down and we partner up on doing your wedding me and my B's got you! It'll be an intimate backyard bohemian styled dream! I know DJ's, MC's, musicians, caterers, cake designers, I mean shoot I have 3 damn dresses and I know where to get more girl! I've got you. This wedding stuff is not hard. Or at least it doesn't have to be. Let me help you. If you're down for a boho cheque wedding of your dreams... I've got you!
